We are excited to open the public comment period for ImpaCT 2050: A Climate Action & Equity Plan for New Haven County. Read below for information on submitting feedback. This Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP) has been released for New Haven County as part of the national Climate Pollution Reduction Grant program (CPRG). The plan focuses on identifying and implementing sector-specific measures that will reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions within the region. The six sectors addressed in the plan are transportation, energy production and consumption, energy efficiency in buildings, industrial, waste management, and working lands and forestry.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR INPUT
We encourage you to provide feedback on the plan by completing the survey below. Public comment is open through October 31st.
We will hold two virtual listening sessions in October for the public and regional stakeholders to chat with SCRCOG and NVCOG staff about the plan. A final presentation will also be held in November (TBA).
