HazWaste Central (HWC)

HazWaste Central is co-sponsored by the Regional Water Authority and the South Central Regional Council of Governments. HazWaste Central helps residents in member towns protech local waterways and natural environments by providing a location for the appropriate and safe disposal of household hazardous waste.

HWC is open seasonally on Saturdays from 9am – 12pm during the season from mid-May through October. They are closed on major holidays that happen to fall on a Saturday. HWC is located in the Regional Water Authority Parking lot located at 90 Sargent Drive, New Haven, CT
