In this hands-on training, we’ll explore how to take what we’ve learned about housing and conservation, economics, local government, and engineering and talk effectively about it with our neighbors — in community gatherings, in one-to-one conversations, and at municipal meetings.
We’ll talk through some basic principles of effective messaging and communication, learn some words that work and words that don’t (and why), and bring these lessons to life using examples from our own communities.
Bring your questions, bring your frustrations, bring your breakthroughs! This will be a chance to learn together and get better at the wonderful work you are all already doing! The session is FREE and open to all — feel free to spread the word!
