SCRCOG will be hosting a virtual Regional Climate Forum to discuss how climate resiliency can be incorporated into long-range planning efforts. During the forum, we’ll discuss how to address existing and future climate impacts in local Plans of Conservation & Development, regional POCDs and Hazard Mitigation Plans, and new planning tools such as Resilience Improvement Districts. We will also discuss how we can connect planning for climate impacts to other areas such as housing, infrastructure, transportation, and more.
