The public is invited to offer comments until April 22, 2024, as the mayors and first selectmen of the South Central Region of Connecticut shape the Draft Fiscal Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for 2025-2028.  

The TIP is a fiscally constrained listing of all projects using federal dollars over the four year period from FY2025-FY2028. Framed together with the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), it guides the flow of funding for major improvements to the region’s roadways, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian transportation systems.

This meeting provides an opportunity for those interested to learn about these programs. CTDOT and SCRCOG staff will be on hand to answer questions.

CTDOT Draft 2025-2028 STIP

The Connecticut Department of Transportation’s Draft 2025-2028 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program and Public Involvement Procedures (PIP) documents will be available for public review and comment starting May 1 to May 31, 2024.
