Guilford Green Transportation Study
This study evaluates transportation conditions around the historic Guilford Green—one of the town’s most important civic, commercial, and cultural areas. It identifies opportunities to improve circulation, pedestrian safety, and access through potential one-way street conversions, intersection redesigns, traffic calming, and expanded bike/ped infrastructure. The recommendations aim to preserve the character of the Green while supporting safer, more efficient travel for all.
SCRCOG Mobility Study
Focused on seniors, people with disabilities, and underserved communities, this study outlines barriers to accessible transportation across the South Central Region. It includes demographic analysis, service evaluations, and community input to develop a set of coordinated strategies that improve access to jobs, healthcare, education, and civic life.
SCRCOG Regional Freight Study
A data-driven review of how goods move through the region via truck, rail, and port. This report explores key freight challenges—like congestion, parking, and sustainability—and offers recommendations to strengthen freight efficiency, safety, and coordination in support of economic growth.
These studies will help guide investments and inform planning decisions across our communities. We invite you to review the findings and stay connected as SCRCOG and our partners work to implement the next steps.
